The incident began at 3:45 p.m., when two men carrying AK-47 assault rifles burst into the factory and began shooting, said Chief Hector Ivan Mejia of the San Pedro Sula Police Department. By the time police arrived a few minutes later, 13 people were dead in the building. Five others died at a hospital, he said.
The victims were in their teens and 20s, he said.While the police chief doesn't seem to have speculated as to the motives for the attack, the media leads one to believe that the killings were related to the Mara 18. Canadian Press reporting also makes it look like the massacre might have been related to drug traffickers or gangs, but the authorities still don't seem to know.

Honduras es un pais tan hermoso, tan rico culturalmente hablando, pero la falta de recursos es la que hace que nuestros jovenes, los lideres del manana se conviertan en delincuentes que buscan la salida facil.... mi sentido pesame a todos los familiares de los fallecidos. tengan fe en Dios.
