The United States pressured Honduras to reinstate its former President Manuel Zelaya on Thursday by halting all non-humanitarian aid to the country, according to CNN.
Zelaya was ousted in a coup on June 28, leading to a period of chaos in the nation, where divisions are still prevalent.
The news quickly circulated amongst Twitter users in Honduras capital Tegucigalpa, angering some. Many continue to tweet about the crisis with the hashtag #crisishn:
