A guard of Miguel Facusse assaults villagers for inagurating a local radio

After participating in the inauguration and launch of Community Radio "Voice of Zacate Grande", a string band, which was heading at about 5:30 pm towards the community of Las Flores, their vehicle was intercepted by security guards of businessman Miguel Facusse, who without saying a word attacked attacked Mr. Abil Vagas Osorio.

The security guards, armed with Ak 47, forced all the people who were driving the vehicle to get out and without a word they savagely beat Mr. Vargas Osorio.

The Grande Zacate villagers inaugurated today the community radio and events were attended by representatives of human rights organizations, journalists, artists, members of the National Resistance Front, trusts and the wider community.

Since the radio construction work began, Miguel Facusse has opposed that the community has a means of communication and the aggression of his security guards against this fellow, makes it clear that it is a way to intimidate the community to cancel the radio.

We call the Public Ministry and preventive police, who in compliance with the disarmament decree should confiscate (weapons)and judicially proceed against Miguel Facusse and his security guards attempting on the life of the Zacate Grande inhabitants.
